Privacy policy

Drapli is an app for boutiques: it keeps your stock and sales and makes posters from your product photos. This page says what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and how you remove it.
What we collect
- Your phone number, to sign you in with a one-time code and to identify your shop. Staff you invite are identified by their phone numbers too.
- Your shop details: shop name, tagline and logo, if you add them.
- Product photos and stock: names, prices, costs, sizes, colours and quantities.
- Sales: what was sold, for how much, how it was paid, and the staff member who recorded it.
- Customer details you choose to add: a customer's name and phone number, used only to send that customer their receipt on WhatsApp.
- App usage and crash reports: which screens are used and errors the app hits, so we can fix problems. These do not include your product photos or sales amounts.
We do not show ads, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.
Why we use it
- To run the app: sign-in, stock, sales, receipts, posters and exports.
- To make posters: your product photo is sent to an image service to create the poster, and a second service checks the poster still matches your garment.
- To fix bugs and improve the app.
Who processes it for us
- Convex — stores your shop's data and runs the app's server.
- OpenAI — creates posters from your product photos.
- Anthropic — checks a poster matches the garment in your photo.
- SMSPop — sends sign-in codes by SMS.
- Meta (WhatsApp Business) — delivers receipts you choose to send.
- PostHog — app usage analytics.
- Sentry — crash and error reports.
These services may process data outside Zimbabwe. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. After a trial ends without payment, your shop stays readable and exportable. When you delete your account, your shop, products, photos, sales, posters, staff and sign-in records are deleted. Copies in backups are removed within 30 days.
Your choices
- Export your stock and sales to Excel at any time from More → Export.
- Delete your account from More → Delete account, or follow the steps on Delete my account.
- Ask us what we hold about you, or to correct it, at support@drapli.app.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections. Each shop's data is only reachable by that shop's owner and staff, and staff never see costs or profit.
Children
Drapli is for shop owners and their staff and is not meant for anyone under 18.
